David Cook
American Idol Season 7 winner, David Cook, has generated lots of buzz throughout the season and since. A rocker but also a surprisingly gifted vocalist, David won fans from every demographic and brought a refreshing presence to Idol.
His take on hits like "Billie Jean," "Hello," and "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" defined him as more than just one of the dime-a-dozen rockers trying to make it big in the music industry. And his unforgettable performance of "Music of the Night" from Phantom of the Opera showed that he has the musical chops to someday take his place among the greats.
