American Idol Season 7 runner-up, David Archuleta, was one of the most-talked-about Idol contestants in a long time. His unassailable vocal skills made him a front-runner from the beginning, and although he stumbled a few times, he never really lost that momentum. It carried him to the finale, where he was pitted against David Cook. Unfortunately for Archie, he lost the title, but his fans remain, and they eagerly await the release of his first album.
We won’t soon forget his renditions of “Imagine” and “The Long and Winding Road” from the Beatles songbook, as well as his stellar covers of “Stand By Me” and “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me.”
